Well today I made a lot more progress than on Wed. I got a good portion of Yoda finished. After mixing Yoda's face color and getting it up there I noticed it was too brown/green and blended with his clothes. So, I mixed the "light saber" green in with the mix and I was happy with the perfect Yoda color. His face will be toned down a lot after I get all of the shading done. It was really fun today....and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed painting. It didn't feel like a chore at all. 
I started painting my first mural a couple weeks ago for Tommy (Jeremy's good friend from Sunshine). He wanted a Star Wars theme with the Millenium Falcon and some characters. I haven't gotten very far yet with the painting (I've only been able to make it over there 2 days so far with how busy summer has been) but I thought that I would post a few pics of my progress. Here's a close-up of Yoda & Darth Vador holding Light Sabers:
I started filling in Yoda today and it was fun to see it come to life. I was a little hesitant about putting up pics of unfinished work (it always looks sloppy until it's finished), but I thought it would be fun to document the process. I think it will help me too to be able to look back and see how it went and what worked/didn't work:

I'm going back this Friday, so hopefully I'll get a lot more done. I had a little bit of a paint problem today and wasted a few hours with it.......so frustrating!
